Saiei

I know it has been a long time. Well overdue for an update. You are probably wondering where I have been, if you actually read this site (I would be very surprised).

Recently, I suffered HDD failure. The drive was a 3TB I needed to grant me the capacity to obtain new releases for saiei (has collected some of the requested stuff). While non of the actual saiei releases were on there, the new stuff is lost. I am not sure when I will be able to get another setup going to download more series again.

With this occurrence, it has make me think about the future of saiei. I work full time now and I am moving on from my online anime hobbies. I am just not in a position in my life to keep doing these sort of things anymore. I can no longer guarantee any releases from saiei. Although, that does not mean it is suddenly the end of the site. I am going to keep the torrents seeded and the a site active. I am also going to continue to respond to any direct questions to me via blog, forum or irc channel (#saiei@irc.rizon.net).

With that said, I hope to find time for saiei in future. But I do not know when that will be.

Clearly I have failed to keep up with the reseeds. So I am going to stop pretending that I can continue doing it. From now on all existing torrents will continue to be seeded as is (originally I was trying to move all the torrents to open trackers for ease).

I am going to try to obtain new releases next year and get something real started with saiei again. So expect something in coming months.

These were released yesterday. But I could not update due to some wordpress issues.

Ashita no Joe, Ashita no Joe II and Miyuki are now on the reseed. Hopefully, this new connection will help me pick up the pace. Maybe four reseeds next week.

The forums have been upgraded the latest version. Unfortunately, the old theme is not compatible with the upgraded forums. So, I got a great new theme from Bloc and modified the colors to match the main site.

I know the side bar for new forums posts is broken. I will try to fix it another time.

Regarding Sakigake!! Otokojuku, the series has been fully subbed by Hokuto no Gun. Because of this, I am not going to try to reseed it any time soon.
